Why this conference matters
Over the course of InterGenic, youth and senior participants in seven European countries have co-created and implemented intergenerational actions: youth transferring digital competences, seniors reactivating traditional and sustainable practices, and jointly designing solutions tailored to their local communities. Through these experiences, we have observed how intergenerational learning can reduce the digital and social divide, foster mutual understanding, and generate sustainable innovations.
This conference will showcase the best practices and real-life results of those actions, with dedicated presentations from each country team, followed by a round table discussion that invites reflection on inclusive methodologies, intergenerational learning models, and strategies for ensuring impact beyond the project’s lifetime.
