We have organized the first meetings with our target groups in Austria, Cyprus, Ireland, Greece, Netherlands, Spain, and Romania. We have gathered ideas for workshops on digital skills for seniors given by the young people according to their competencies, and workshops on sustainability skills for youth given by the seniors according to their knowledge and skills.

Different countries and cultures have generated a variety of ideas for skills development in both age groups. We involved local young people, as well as immigrants and refugees in the co-creation workshop to enrich the materials and get a different perspective on the knowledge of digital technologies of the young people that can be utilized for the creation of workshops for seniors who lack certain capabilities to be able to benefit from the devices and programs available to us.

On the other hand, we worked with seniors to collect ideas for a workshop that will allow young people to learn how to be more sustainable and apply green practices in their daily lives. The co-creation workshops have been productive and we have gathered ideas on food preservation, green small-scale agricultural practices, building with natural materials, cooking and food preparation, and many others.

Our team is now working on developing structured workshops that will enable young people to mentor seniors in improving their digital skills, and seniors to mentor youth in their sustainability learning journey.
