Project number: 2023-1-ES01-KA220-ADU-000155225

We gather ideas for workshops with seniors and young people in 7 countries and process them into training materials for youth and senior mentors on digital and sustainability skills. Our training packages will be available by the end of the year, 2024. Our project supports:
InterGenic connects generations that naturally would not get engaged in educating each other in a non-formal learning setup

Sustainability is founded on three critical pillars: environmental protection, economic growth, and social equity, each essential for ensuring that our actions and policies meet the current needs of society without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Although rather a new concept, popularised lately, we can turn to the past to learn a lot about it.

Seniors have knowledge of a lot of sustainable practices that can be transferred to future generations.

The digital transition in the European Union is like updating to the newest, coolest technology, but for the entire Union. It means using computers, the internet, and other smart technology to make life better and jobs easier. This includes things like having faster internet everywhere, teaching everyone how to use computers better, and using technology to improve schools and hospitals. It's all about making sure that technology makes life better for everyone, from kids playing games to adults doing their jobs.

Digitalization in the EU offers a significant advantage to young people, providing them with unprecedented access to information, educational resources, and global connectivity, which equips them with the tools to innovate, participate in a digital economy, and shape the future of a digitally integrated Europe. Digital literacy however needs improvements on EU Level.

Young people, with their innate familiarity and proficiency with digital technologies, are well-positioned to guide and educate older generations, offering training on a variety of digital skills, from basic computer literacy to more advanced software and internet functionalities, promoting an inclusive digital society across all age groups.

The green transition is the EU's big plan to take care of our planet. The idea is to stop doing things that hurt the environment, like creating too much pollution and damaging the soils where we essentially grow our food. Instead, the EU wants to use clean energy from the sun and wind, recycle more, and make sure that the air and water are clean. This way, we can make sure that our planet stays a beautiful and healthy place to live, not just for us, but for animals and plants too!
